A Train in Ghana

Tracks Station
Uncle Mike likes trains, so he
asked us to look for one in Ghana
we could photograph for him.
First we found tracks.
Then we found a station in Accra.
We asked people living by tracks
when the trains come through.
They knew very well!

One morning we watched the 7:25 commuter from Nsawam arrive.
This video is about 700kb, be patient for it to load.

How did we do, Uncle Mike?
Did you see the chicken cross the tracks?
Can anyone identify the song (hymn)?

Locomotive Engineer
Passengers on the locomotive
waved at us when we took their picture.
The engineer gave us a thumbs-up.
Ignore the raspberry behind him!

No Standing
The stenciling on the car says,
"STANDING ON STAIRCASE
IS PROHIBITED"

We were told it costs 1000 cedis (11 cents) to ride the train. We don't know if the people on the locomotive are paying customers or not.
